ParticipantAfter a thrilling offensive showdown against the New England Patriots last Sunday night, the Chiefs are back in primetime again this Sunday in what should be another entertaining game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Bengals come into the game at 4-2 after a heartbreaking 28-21 loss to Pittsburgh in Week 6. They won their only other primetime game of the season — a Week 2 matchup against Baltimore — but historically they’ve had a rough time after dark, with a prime time record of 21-50 all-time and 8-24 under head coach Marvin Lewis.
They’ll have to put the Pittsburgh loss behind them quickly this week considering their challenge on Sunday night might be even greater as they face a Chiefs offense that ranks second in the league at 35.8 points per game and features an impressive array of talent that includes Patrick Mahomes, Kareem Hunt, Travis Kelce, and Tyreek Hill.
Those players won’t be the only stars on the field Sunday night, as each team brings their share of difference makers who should shine under the lights at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City.
Here’s a rundown of where each team stands by position heading into the game.

Projected starters: Chiefs – Patrick Mahomes; Bengals – Andy DaltonAndy Dalton’s been having a good season for the Bengals with 1,674 yards, 14 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. When he’s been on his game throughout his career, the Bengals offense has been dangerous. When he’s off, it’s been ugly. Some of his worst outings have come during primetime games, which Dalton now has a 6-14 record in after a win over the Ravens in Week 2. Whether good Andy or bad Andy shows up on Sunday night, Patrick Mahomes still gets the edge with the way he’s been playing and the threat he poses to Cincinnati’s defense. Mahomes has had his ups and downs over the past two weeks, but the guess is he’ll be on his game against a banged-up Bengals secot of a home
