As this we be my first article it would be nice to break the ice with a little about myself and my love of video games, and hope the all the readers see some insight in my opinions.
Let’s see, I am a 37 year old guy working in the Banking Industry, married with 2 children (silence in the room….. Even the crickets left)
I know, I know, this description is not for guy who has time to play games or should be still be interested in playing games, but wait (hold my ….. Pepsi I think) moreover I am in to movies also (I watch Indian movies too, but no ARABIC), TV serieses (I am pickle rick, bad pun I know), comics book geek (more DC than Marvel), love anime (Onepiece), and read manga (Onepiece …. seeing a pattern here) and a soccer player. So I am your typical geek with some abnormal activities, I know it is not possible to have all the above but for myself I had to sacrifices in the amount I am involved in, the only exception is gaming which I am very passionate about and why I am writing about.
My passion about gaming is not only about playing games, it is on the industry as a whole, the business side, the companies, the developers, the publishers and history.
Now about history, a long time ago (Que the Star Wars text scroll) a five-year-old boy saw an Atari 2600 with pong and something ignited in him, it was the start of a long life in gaming.
When I was young I knew I would love gaming but I didn’t know it was video games; I liked playing games on my old PC (imagine a PC in the 80’s), and till this day I don’t know the brand because it was named computer and that is it, I played some strange games that may be the most don’t know about (chuckie egg ,Batman “1986” …. google them) and then I saw the famicom (The original NES for the people who don’t know) and it came with Mario, and my life changed, and I knew this is my passion not football not music not cars
